Menta psychological offers thorough Child Custody Evaluations, which are performed with compassion and understanding. The best interest of the child(ren) is foremost and center in all recommendations made. The ultimate goal is to achieve a situation that is least stressful for the child and allows for healthy emotional and physical development. Child Custody evaluations include extensive interview, records review, psychological testing, and a home visit. These evaluations require a total of 6-12 hours per individual involved.
Parental Capacity Evaluations assess one’s ability to parent in a healthy and appropriate manner, identify any obstacles to effective parenting, and to make recommendations to overcome those obstacles and improve parenting. Comprised of clinical interview, records review, and psychological testing, these evaluations require 3-5 hours total.
